Last spring, we were called in to help a couple who had recently moved to the Winston-Salem area and were looking to downsize. We suggested new furnishings,rugs, lighting, artwork, shutters, and window treatments to update the home. Like many of our clients, they wanted to work in phases. We started with shutters for the whole house, and then furnishings for the home office and breakfast room. We later furnished the living room and dining room. We recently installed draperies for the office, dining room, and breakfast room. Draperies can make a dramatic difference in making a room feel complete.
Still to come are new light fixtures and some additional artwork. It is always fun to see the finishing touches coming into place!
